I loved the aura, old furniture, posters on the wall, intense coffee smell and the music. Service was very slow, although it was not too full, but the waiter was polite. It made a beautiful morning for me who looked for a fresh, deep beginning to explore magnificent Vienna.
Folks working here are super hospitable. Very good energy. I’ll go back whenever in Vienna. It’s easy on the pocket too…
Great coffee, made with care. Simple breakfast of egg and toast, attention to details such as warmed crusty roll, just enough jam for you to ask for more.
We were looking for coffee first thing in the morning, so glad we found Cafe Kafka.
Chill and artistic atmosphere. Very tasty coffe and brownies. The back of the cafe is also a very beautiful space. A bit darker and very cozy. I Would definately go again when i visit Vienna!
Terrible service, ordered twice but the coffee and strudel never arrived. We waited more than 30 minutes for the food to arrive but then it didn’t and had to leave the cafe frustrated. We ordered first at the counter and then after 20 minutes, the waitress came and asked what we wanted, and we ordered again. Waited another 15 minutes, but nothing arrived. The vibe of the cafe is also not super great. There’s nothing special there to return again
Great place, loved the vibe. The food was delicious and the coffee had good quality. I drank a tasty dirty chai which is a rare found. If I were local then I would definitely come back and be a regular guest. The place was a little crowded but I would rather say it is cosy. Also love Kafka.
David was absolutely amazing. He gave us the most amazing recommendations. He took his time with to sit down and talk about his life and his passions. 10/10 guy!
The coffee and sacher cake was fine, but we had unpleasant experience with the service. We waited for our cakes for quite a long time, so I politely asked the waitress if they remember about our order. The waitress seemed frustrated that we even asked. When he got to our table with cakes, he throwed tha plates. We said "thank you" and he ignored us. After eating I wanted to pay by card. The waitress asked if we can pay by cash. We said we want to pay by card again and he asked "you don't have cash at all?" With very bad tone. I think was very inappropriate. I think he was angry because we asked if he remembered our order. I worked in clients service as well. I understand that sometimes it's a bad day or you feel being rushed, but I was nice, polite and smiling. I don't feel like it was fair.
